Tom is a multi-disciplinary artist working throughout the UK as a composer, actor and theatre director. He is a founder member of Prime Studios creation space in Windsor and an associate artist of touring company Blackeyed Theatre.
His career highlights include working with legendary ‘empty space’ director Yoshi Oïda on Benjamin Britten’s ‘Death in Venice’ (Opera North); re-opening the refurbished Frank Matcham designed New Theatre Royal in Portsmouth with ‘The Great Gatsby’ (Blackeyed Theatre); adapting and directing the world stage premiere of James Joyce’s ‘A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man’ (Pentameters, Hampstead); and composing the first work for a new orchestral instrument – Michael Davis’ Chimes – ‘The Fortress’ (Beautiful Creatures).
His recent work includes ‘Three Songs of Charlotte Mew’ (for soprano and piano), The Winter Giant (Beautiful Creatures) and ‘Untitled (Orange)‘ – an album of jazz. Tom is a BBC featured music artist, Saatchi published photographer and a shortlisted poet for the Grace Dieu prize.
He donates a tenth of his income to WaterAid UK in support of their campaign to bring clean water and sanitation to Everyone Everywhere by the year 2030.
He lives in Bracknell.
